The Nortek Center is the premier Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CITT) in Bălți, Republic of Moldova, serving the entire North Development Region.
It is a modern, regional ecosystem dedicated to fostering economic competitiveness and digital transformation by strengthening the link between the academic environment, the private sector, and public institutions.
Nortek is a subdivision of the Alecu Russo State University of Bălți.
The center has a total area of over 6,000 square meters, created through the complete modernization of two university blocks. It offers a variety of spaces, including:
Training and experimentation rooms.
- Specialized laboratories (e.g., the Nortek CISCO Academy Networking Lab).
- Co-working spaces.
- Business incubation zones and offices for private companies and startups.
The center provides access to high-performance technologies and expertise in: Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Manufacturing, Cybersecurity.
